It is fairly easy to see the decline in numbers in many communities in2006 and 2007. The numbers picked up in 2009 and seem to have dropped back to a range that existed before the big rise in prices. Interestingly the number of closed sales in April do not seem to indicate a huge impact that was expected from the tax credits. It will be interesting to watch the numbers as these stimulus credits go away.
