Tomorrow, May 27, 2010 will be opening day for the ninety-fourth Orange Show in San Bernardino. The Orange Show actually first appeared in San Bernardino in 1889 following several successful "Citrus Fairs " in Riverside. The how opened with the San Bernardino band playing. According to historical records, the event cost to produce was $744.25 and the revenue was $1,180.25. Legend has it that it always rains during the run of the Orange Show. Organizers have held the event in March, then in April then back to March, then back to April and now in May. It will be held from May 27 until May 31. Adult tickets are $5 and children under 12 are free. Tomorrow, the first day, admission, parking, games, rides and food will cost $1 each.
