The San Bernardino County Museum Hosts First 5

This Saturday from 9 1.m. to 5 p.m. First 5 San Bernardino will be presenting the inaugural "All Aboard the Reading Railroad" workshop at the San Bernardino County Museum. The program is a step toward supplying children with the tools that they need to begin reading early and to be ready for preschool. Children under 5 years of age will be admitted to the museum free of charge and will obtain free books and backpacks. Families will be able to receive information about community educational opportunities.
First 5's Hands on Health Express Truck, Radio Disney and a number of other agencies will be on hand to provide entertainment, school readiness information, community resources and educational materials for families. There will be fun face painting, balloon art and read aloud activities.
Admission for adults is $8, $6 for military persons and seniors, $5 for students, $4 for children 5-12.
