More About Electronic Waste

I mention Friday about the Electronic collection at Cajon High School in San Bernardino. As a coincidence. I heard a radio spot that I want to share with you.
Instead of waiting for a special day to turn in your old computers, TVs, cell phones, etc. Good Will Industries advertises that you can bring this used electronic equipment to any Good Will Outlet. What a wonderful convenience! No longer is it necessary to hold onto the stuff until the city or another organization has a recycle day.
I guess it is Spring cleaning time as I noticed that the University of Redlands is also sponsoring a junk collection day on Saturday, March 29 fro 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Ease-e-Waste, an electronics collection and recycling firm is scheduled to be at the university during these hours. The company's truck is slated to be at the northwest campus parking lot near Brockton Avenue and University Street.
It is wonderful that we are all becoming more sensitive about e-waste.
