San Bernardino Is the Place to Be

It began yesterday evening and will continue through Sunday. The annual Stater Bros. Route 66 Rendezvous brings the excitement of classic cars. So many beautifully restored cars are brought to San Bernardino for the weekend parade and car show. It is an event that celebrates the trips on Route 66.
Add ed to the event this year, The California Theatre of the Performing Arts is staging iconic rock and roll performances. Remember Chubby Checker and the Twist? Chubby will perform at 8 p.m. on Saturday. Chuck Berry is this evening and Barenaked Ladies are Sunday. Tickets range in price from $19 to $63.50.
All the parades are free and it makes for an exciting time in the old town of San Bernardino.
