The apple picking in Oak Glen, California began in September and will continue through Thanksgiving. With our beautiful fall weather this weekend, it will be perfect to visit Oak Glen. At Riley's Farm you can pick a bag to take home with you. Bags are weighed and you pay by the weight. Riley's also has their log cabin and a restaurant to enjoy. Some of the other vendors have apples by the bushel and the peck for purchase. Laws is a famous stop for apple pie.
At approximately 6000 foot elevation, the temperatures will be pleasant. You can certainly enjoy a bit of old fashioned Americana.
