There you have the numbers. It is somewhat surprising that the number of closed transactions is remarkably consistent - boom times or bust times. Other than 2007 when sales really declined as potential buyers realized that the market had fallen. Then in 2008, following a substantial adjustment in the price of real property, sales bounced up and the volume in some communities was the highest in the past nine years.
