So You Want to Modify Your Loan

This weekend, today through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. the Ontario Convention Center is hosting the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America's American Dream Tour. The organization is a nonprofit that claims it can get the job of loan modifications done in a day. WOW, what a concept!
According to a press release, there will be dozens of employees from Bank of American, Wells Fargo, J.P. Morgan Chase and other loan servicers to meet with the folks who arrive to seek a loan modification . Bruce Marks, is the CEO of the organization and he predicts that 55 percent of attendees will be able to reach some type of mortgage solution, such as a lower interest rate, a forbearance agreement or even principal reduction.
The event is free to attend. However there may be membership fees required for some services.
