Snowboarding at Big Bear

I don't yet see snow capped mountains, but Bear Mountain must have created snow. Saturday, September 24, the eighth annual Bear Mountain's snowboard gathering will occur. Bear Mountain's Hot Dawgs and Hand Rails summertime snowboard gathering is one of the largest in the world.
Athletes will compete all day and the live webcast will begin at 3 p.m. on http://www.snowboardermag.com/
The competition will end at 7 p.m. with an awards ceremony.
This is just another example of the variety of activities that are available to our residents.
