Here is a way to track the single family real estate market in our Inland Southern California area. For the fourteen communities that I regularly track, I post the number of closed sales for each month of 2011.

There you have the numbers. If I put them on a graph they would look a bit like a bouncing ball.
It will be interesting to see if the December closings bounce back up with buyers and sellers trying to close a transaction in 2011.
