Being Thankful

Tomorrow is the day set aside to count our blessings and for our opportunities to share these blessings with family, friends and, whenever possible, with those less fortunate. Can drives have been held by various organizations, the East Valley Association of Realtors has given out turkeys for the past several years food markets have had pre-filled bags of food that you can purchase with your groceries for distribution to food banks. Not only are Americans the first, and perhaps the only people, that set aside a day to be thankful, but Americans are known to support more public charities than folks in other parts of the world.
Let us all be mindful of the need to share our blessings. Let us all enjoy the day set aside for the purpose of being thankful. Along the food, the football and the friends and family let us remember the reason that the day is set aside.
